As the holiday decorations come down and the cold winter months settle in, many people continue to go hungry in our community. Come support individuals and families in need throughout our community, as we "stuff a bus" with donations to help them through the winter!
Donations of food and cash contributions will be accepted. Volunteers are also needed to help with this event! Click here to sign up!

Opportunity Neighborhood Mount Vernon is creating a Community Council for the Mount Vernon area. The council will be a resident-driven committee working with community organizations and county representatives to ensure our neighborhood's desires, representation, and welfare is a priority.
We are asking residents and community partners to come out to one of our information sessions and learn about the best way to serve our communities.
Additionally, we encourage our community partners to share this information far and wide. We want to ensure our Council is inclusive and open to all members of our community.
Join us for one of the three information sessions:
Refreshments, child care, and interpretation will be provided at all meetings.
We encourage everyone to spread the word, you don't need to be at every info session. More information about Community Council meetings will delivered at the information sessions.
Join us to ensure your voice is heard for your family, for your neighborhood and for your community.
