Volunteer Appreciation Day: April 2022

Celebrating our incredible volunteers with a morning of food and fun!

United Community’s success depends upon our wonderful volunteers, and after two years of the pandemic altering our plans, honoring them in person again at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Day was extra special. Our volunteers and their families enjoyed food and entertainment as we took this opportunity to thank them for all they do.

In fiscal year 2021, United Community had 300 volunteers providing 3500 hours of service to our organization. Our volunteers serve as pro-bono attorneys, social workers, and grant writers; sort donated items at our food pantries; assist children at our community centers; tutor those seeking to improve their English; and guide individuals who are navigating the path to citizenship.

It is because of them that we are able to serve the Route One community. We are so grateful to all of our volunteers!
